Chrysanthemum Crush

I fell in love with Chrysanthemum's some time ago. I've always been facinated by things that I can't quite wrap my mind around. This flower is one of them. The petals seem endless like it is constantly in bloom. They kind of remind me of the March of the Penguins movie where they are all huddled together. Hee.

The chrysanthemum I am most attracted to is the Irregular Incurve Type, or Ogiku in Japanese.

This October I'll be getting a chrysanthemum half sleeve with filigree!!

  2. The filigree only makes sense for me, I think. I'm not that into the typical asian backgrounds... clouds, waves, etc. Not that I don't think they are beautiful, but just not for me.
I'm thinking the left arm.... I don't know. It depends on which side of my upper back I get my Chipping Sparrow this summer. I'll tell you about it later! ;-) I'm trying to get appointment with a traveling artist this summer.
    Thanks for being here sis!
